A Pair of Squares
A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux
Complete each level of this puzzle platformer by controlling both characters with one set of controls.
Controls: arrow keys for movement, space to jump/select menu option.

The game start very slow in the main menu with last windows updates. Which doesn't make any sense because it's not a graphically complex game, and it still happens.
It happens to me specially for each square that appears on the screen.
I've double-checked and it works fine on the latest version of Windows 11. I can't guarantee any other versions, but I don't see why there would be a problem. Is it possible that some other software on your device is causing the game to appear to run slower?
Could be the case. I will try again with as few open programs as possible.
i stack at level 4. game is cool. graphics is amazing espacily for sdl and cpp. good job!
